Pulled Pork

Ingredients:

017

2 medium onions, chopped

1 cup ketchup

2/3 cup cider vinegar

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup tomato paste

4 Tablespoons paprika

1/2 Tablespoon cayenne pepper

4 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

7 teaspoons salt

3 teaspoons black pepper

5 lbs pork butt, (you can cut this into 2 pieces)

Rolls or buns (we picked slider buns)

Directions:

Because I hate to clean baked on messes I use slow cooker liners, but you don’t have to use these016

Devin took over the prepping of the meat and did a nice rub down with some pork rub

thumbnail.aspx

This is optional, but if you choose to do a rub down make sure you rub down all the sides

020021

Then he placed it in the oven for about 30 minutes at 350 F to get the rub to cook in and start the cooking process027

Combine all of the ingredients except the pork butt and the buns in a large slow cooker. Stir together with a spoon until well combined025

Add the pork

028

and place the lid on top

029

Cook for about 8 hours on low or until pork is tender and pulls apart easily from the bone

Take two forks and shred the pork and stir well054

Serve on buns or rolls

057

Enjoy!!!

****This recipe makes a lot (serves 25), so it is ideal for parties, or cut the recipe in half or freeze the leftovers!!****

White Chicken Pizza

040

2 small chicken breasts , chopped small

5 cloves of garlic, minced

2 Tablespoons of olive oil

1 Large bunch of basil, chopped

A few good shakes of Salt and Pepper

6-8 oz. shredded Pizza cheese

042

Once they’re cooked through, remove from the heat. Brush your pre-baked, homemade dough with olive oil and spread chicken mixture evenly across the top of the pizza.

049

Next comes the basil

050

And then the spinach

051

Finally sprinkle as little or as much of the cheese on top as you would like

052

Pop your pizza in the oven at 475 F for about 9 minutes or until the cheese is a bubbly brown

053

Enjoy!!!

** Even Cadence ate this one and everyone knows that girl won’t eat meat!!**

Herbed Pizza Crust

Ingredients:

031

1 cup lukewarm water

1pkg Yeast (we found pizza yeast)

1 Tablespoon White sugar

3 Tablespoons Olive Oil

1 teaspoon Salt

2 1/2 cups flour

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Basil

1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

Directions:

Mix together your yeast, sugar and water.

Let the Mixture rest for about 10-15 minutes032

Next add in your oil, salt, garlic, basil and onion powder033

And whisk together

034

Add in your flour to form a dough. Let your dough rest for about 10 minutes

035

Place dough on parchment paper and form into pizza crust (during this time preheat your oven to 475 F )036

***The origianal recipe says to preheat the oven with a pizza stone inside, unfortunately for us we do not have one, but fortunately for us it still came out good on our air bake pan/sheet***

Next you will need to “dock” your dough. Basically poke a whole bunch of holes around the center of the pizza to release the air bubbles

038039

Brush the crust with olive oil and then place in the oven for 7-10 minutes to “pre-bake” it

041

Pull your crust out of the oven, top to your liking and

Enjoy!!!
